Launch of the Acceleration Programme for 14 Kenyan agri-food companies: a key stage in the Farm’Innov project! 

The official launch of the Farm’Innov Acceleration programme, a major component of the agricultural and agri-food cooperation project between Kenya and France, took place on Tuesday 8 April at the French Embassy in Nairobi.

The event brought together the 14 selected companies managers, project partners, key agri-food sector stakeholders, and H.E Arnaud Suquet, French Ambassador in Kenya and Somalia, who praised the commitment and tremendous innovative and winning spirit of these companies and their managers.

During a top-class pitching session, the 14 companies managers presented their businesses and challenges, to boost their development and innovations. Onboarding sessions were also held on Monday and Tuesday mornings to kick off the programme and create links at the AFD offices.

This event marks the launch of their 10-month tailored support programme, until February 2026, including consultory and training, immersion visits in France to discover the French food industry, and mentoring system.

Congrats & asante sana to all the pitchers and partners in this emblematic project of cooperation between Kenya and France, built to strengthen Kenya’s agri-food sector, promote food security and establish a lasting partnership between our two countries.
