Focus on the 3 upcoming highlights of the Farm’Innov project

Three key events will punctuate the coming weeks of the Franco-Kenyan Farm’Innov cooperation project, led by Valorial: first, the welcome in France of a delegation of 13 major representatives of Kenya’s agricultural and agri-food sector*, from 9 to 13 March, as part of a week-long “institutional visit” to western France. The kenyan delegation is made up of representatives from the research, innovation and finance sectors, professional organisations, business federations and institutions.

The programme is carefully crafted by Valorial: the Cité du Lait in Laval, a full tour of the CFIA agri-food trade show in Rennes (Innovation Tours, “Usine Agro du Futur” hub, targeted meetings with Valorial member exhibitors, etc.), visits to companies in the Valorial network, meetings with representatives of local authorities, the Rungis International Market, etc.

Two other events are currently being prepared, this time in Nairobi: a Trade Convention on 31 March, between the 14 Kenyan companies involved in the project’s acceleration programme and the main local distributors, to develop the distribution of their products in particular, as well as the project’s Closing Event on 1 April, which will be more institutional in nature, taking the form of an initial assessment and outlook, and will bring together all the project’s stakeholders, companies and institutional partners of the project in Kenya, as well as the community built around Farm’Innov over the last two years (French Embassy, AFD, ASNET, Equity, French Chamber of Commerce, Ministries, accelerated companies, French and Kenyan agri-food companies, etc.).

These events are fully in line with the objectives and services deployed as part of the Farm’Innov project.
They help to forge links and establish lasting partnerships between the agri-food and institutional communities of both countries!

We will tell you more very soon, so stay tuned!
